A Bug's Life | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Rebecca Long Observer Critics who write off A Bug's Life focus on the surface-level plot about Flik's individual perseverance ... But under this palatable veneer is a story about workers' rights. Norberto C "A Bug’s Life" is an interesting way to present the social rejection and control of one social group over another. Although it feels something simple and not so creative, the film does entertaining and also presents a protagonist with whom you manage to empathize. It may not be a great movie but it manages to catch you and get you hooked, it’s definitely a good start to what Pixar wanted to do. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/13/24 Full Review Yusuf N Too Underrated. Like really Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/04/24 Full Review Miro P "A Bug's Life" is not the best thing in the world, but still an instant classic. Flik is a pretty enjoyable character, and while the plot is pretty dull, the humor and great characters with unique personalities make up for it. The animation also is an improvement compared to Toy Story, the first Pixar movie. A Bug's life was a great movie and deserves way more credit. This piece of cinema is one of the most underrated things I've seen, 4/5. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/25/24 Full Review Hargie M it's a kids' movie at heart, but there are plenty of jokes and references that will fly right over the heads of younger viewers and keep the adults chuckling along.
