We have lots of different delivery options, from home delivery for heavy furniture to parcel deliveries for smaller orders. If you need your order really fast, we also offer express delivery. Choose the delivery method that suits you and your wallet.

We do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible. When you add your products to your shopping bag on IKEA.se or when you talk to an IKEA co-worker at your store, we will tell you which delivery options are best for your order.

Delivery options may vary depending on the products you order and where you live.

Small parcel (varubrev) – home delivery, 29:-

Nordic swan ecolabel - delivery

  • Price: 29:- for small parcels within the weight and size specifications (see below).
  • Delivery method: By PostNord to your mailbox or front door.
  • Package weight and size: 0-1.5 kg, max 24x24x7 cm
  • Delivery date: From 24 hours, depending on availability of products and where you live.
  • Track your delivery: PostNord will notify you by text or email.
  • The products need to be available at the IKEA Central Parcel Unit.

Parcel to pick-up point, 49:-

Nordic swan ecolabel - delivery

  • Price: 49:- for parcels within the weight and size specifications (see below).
  • Delivery method: With PostNord to your selected pick-up point.
  • Package weight and size: Max 20 kg, max 150x60x60 cm.
  • Delivery date: You will receive a time and date from PostNord.
  • Track your delivery:In the PostNord App.
  • At pick-up: Show ID or use the PostNord App, identification via BankID.
  • The products need to be available at the IKEA Central Parcel Unit.

Parcel locker, 49:-

Nordic swan ecolabel - delivery

  • Price: 49:- for parcels within the weight and size specifications (see below).
  • Delivery method: With PostNord to your selected parcel locker.
  • Package weight and size: Max 20 kg, max 22x42x56 cm.
  • Delivery date: You will receive a time and date from PostNord.
  • Track your delivery:In the PostNord App.
  • At pick-up: To collect the parcel and open the parcel locker, you will need the latest version of the PostNord App and mobile BankID.
  • The products need to be available at the IKEA Central Parcel Unit.

Parcel to home, from 79:-

Nordic swan ecolabel - delivery

  • Price:79:- or 129:- for parcels within the weight and size specifications (see below).
  • Delivery method: With PostNord, to your front door. Please note that your delivery may be split into multiple parcels.
  • Estimated delivery time: You will receive an estimated delivery date at checkout. You will then receive a suggested time and date for delivery in the PostNord App/SMS. You can always change your delivery time.
  • Dimensions and weight: Maximum length: 150 cm. Maximum length + circumference: 300 cm. The maximum weight for the 79:- option is 20 kg for your total order. The maximum weight for the 129:- option is 75 kg for your total order, 34 kg for each individual product.
  • Track your delivery:In the PostNord App. PostNord will notify you when your order is available.
  • At delivery: You must be at home at the time of delivery, but if you wish, you can give PostNord permission to leave the package outside your door.
  • Please note: If your property has a narrow or curved staircase and no elevator, you will need to meet the driver at the gate or entrance for deliveries weighing over 20 kg. PostNord will contact you in advance if this is the case.
  • The products need to be available at the IKEA Central Parcel Unit.

Curbside delivery, from 299:-

  • Price: From 299:-. When you enter your postcode at checkout, you will always get the exact delivery price.
  • Picking service: 100:- will be added when shopping online or if you want a picking service in-store.
  • Price ranges: from 299:- (0-300 kg), from 599:- (300-500 kg). Deliveries over 500 kg will always be indoor delivery.
  • Delivery method: Orders are delivered to the curbside near the front door (apartment) or property boundary (villa).
  • Delivery time: From 24 hours, depending on availability of products and where you live. When you enter your postcode at checkout, you will be informed of the earliest possible delivery date. The carrier will always contact you before delivery.
  • Track your delivery:See the link in your order confirmation.
  • At delivery: Show ID. Couriers show both IDs.
  • Please note:The order may arrive on a steel pallet or trolleys which will be taken back immediately.

Curbside delivery - express, from 399:-

  • Price: From 399:-. When you enter your postcode at checkout, you will always get the exact delivery price.
  • Picking service: 100:- will be added when shopping online or if you want a picking service in-store.
  • Price range: from 399:- (0-300 kg), from 699:- (300-500 kg). Deliveries over 500 kg will always be indoor delivery.
  • Delivery method: The order is delivered to the curbside near the front door (apartment) or property boundary (villa).
  • Delivery time: Within 24 hours, depending on the availability of products and where you live. When you enter your postcode at checkout, you will be informed of the earliest possible delivery date. The carrier will always contact you before delivery.
  • Track your delivery:See the link in your order confirmation.
  • At delivery: Show ID. Couriers show both IDs.

Indoor delivery, from 699:-

  • Price: From 699:-. When you enter your postcode at checkout, you will always get the exact delivery price.
  • Picking service: 100:- will be added when shopping online or if you want a picking service in-store.
  • Price ranges: from 699:- (0-300 kg), from 1299:- (300-500 kg), from 1899:- (over 500 kg).
  • Delivery method:The order will be brought inside your house or apartment to a location of your choosing.
  • Delivery time: From 24 hours, depending on availability of products and where you live. When you enter your postcode at checkout, you will be informed of the earliest possible delivery date. The carrier will always contact you before delivery.
  • Track your delivery: See the link in your order confirmation.
  • At delivery: Show ID. Couriers show both IDs.
  • Please note:Prepare a clear path to and into your home/premises so that the items can be left in your designated place, without injuring people or damaging property. If there is a road barrier, you, as the customer are responsible for ensuring that the key is available at the time of delivery and that permission to enter with a transport vehicle is granted.
  • Do you live on an island?For islands without a fixed connection, delivery is made to the quayside.

Indoor delivery - express, from 799:-.

  • Price: From 799:-. When you enter your postcode at checkout, you will always get the exact delivery price.
  • Picking service: 100:- will be added when shopping online or if you want a picking service in-store.
  • Price ranges: From 799:- (0-300 kg), from: 1399:- (300-500 kg), from 1999:- (over 500 kg).
  • Delivery method:The order will be brought inside your house or apartment to a location of your choosing.
  • Delivery time: Within 24 hours, depending on the availability of products and where you live. When you enter your postcode at checkout, you will be informed of the earliest possible delivery date. The carrier will always contact you before delivery.
  • Track your delivery:See the link in your order confirmation.
  • At delivery: Show ID. Couriers show both IDs.
  • Please note:Prepare a clear path to and into your home/premises so that the items can be left in your designated place, without injuring people or damaging property. Please also remember to protect your floor as the carriers wear protective shoes. If there is a road barrier, you, as the customer are responsible for ensuring that the key is available at the time of delivery and that permission to enter with a transport vehicle is granted.

Archipelago Delivery, 1 999:-

  • Price: 1 999:-
  • Delivery Method: We pick and deliver your order to the designated dock. The carrier will contact you to schedule a specific delivery day. When you enter your postal code at checkout, you can see if we can deliver to your dock.
  • Please note: The carrier will contact you with the exact date and information about your delivery.

  • Delivery method: Orders are dispatched from the central distribution center and collected from your selected store.
  • Weight restriction:Max 150 kg
  • Estimated delivery time: 3-5 days.
  • Track your delivery: See the link in your order confirmation.
  • Ready to collect: When you receive a SMS from your store.
  • When picking up: Bring your order confirmation and ID. Couriers show both IDs.
  • Please note: Orders are held for 4 days before being cancelled and returned. This service is available at Gallerian, Helsingborg, Jönköping, Kalmar, Karlstad, Linköping, Uddevalla, Uppsala, Västerås, Älmhult and Örebro.

Pick-up point, from 199:-

  • Price:199:-
  • Price ranges: From 199:- (0-300 kg), from 399:- (300-500 kg), from 699:- (over 500 kg).
  • Delivery method: You collect your order from one of our partners at your chosen pick-up point. See a list of partners with various opening hours.
  • Pick-up date: The earliest possible delivery date is visible when you have added items and entered the postcode in the checkout.
  • Track your delivery: See the link in your order confirmation.
  • Ready for pick-up:You will be notified by SMS when your order is ready for pick-up.
  • At pick-up: Show your order number and ID, couriers show both IDs.
  • If you don't make it in time: Your order is held for 72 hours.

Rental trailer, from 0:-

  • Price in-store: 0:- when booking the trailer in-store via the Freetrailer app and connected to IKEA WiFi.
  • Price outside the store: 49:- when booking the trailer from home or outside the store via the Freetrailer app.
  • Optional add-on: Insurance, 69:-
  • Delivery method: Pick-up your order yourself with a trailer located at the store. The trailer is rented via Freetrailer.
  • Please note: Trailers are not available at all our locations. Check freetrailer.com (by clicking the link, you will be redirected to a Swedish website) to see if this service is available at your IKEA store.

How IKEA delivery service works

  1. Shop online or in-store.We offer you the same delivery options wherever you choose to shop.
  2. Book delivery. If you shop online, you will be shown the options at checkout. If you shop in-store or by phone, our co-workers will help you find the best delivery option for you.
  3. We are processing your purchase. In the meantime, read up on your delivery. For indoor deliveries, you need to prepare for your products to be brought inside.
  4. You will be notified when your order is on its way. The carrier will contact you before delivery. You can also track your delivery here. If you are waiting for a parcel, you can track your delivery in the PostNord App.
  5. Receive your delivery. Or collect it from the pick-up point if you chose this option. At the delivery, you will need to show ID. Couriers show both IDs.
  6. After delivery.If you notice damage to the packaging or product, or if you have received an incorrect product or an incorrect quantity of products, please contact IKEA Customer Service immediately so that we can help you in the best possible way.

  • You can track your delivery here or use the link in your order confirmation.
  • Is your delivery divided into several deliveries? We do everything we can to make sure you can order the products you want. That means we might sometimes have to pick your products from different warehouses if not all products are available in one place. Your order will then be split into several deliveries. IKEA will of course cover the extra shipping costs. You get this information from the sales co-worker in-store or online at checkout. You can also find it in your order confirmation, which you receive via email.
  • When booking a home delivery, please let us know if there is anything we need to know about stairs, gate codes, barriers, etc.
  • If you have ordered a indoor delivery, you need to clear a path to and into your home/premises so that the items can be left in your designated place, without injuring people or damaging property. Please remember to protect your floors. If there is a road barrier, you, as the customer are responsible for ensuring that the key is available at the time of delivery and that permission to enter with a transport vehicle is granted. Make sure your delivery will fit through all doorways, halls, stairs or lifts in your home or building. For dimensions, look under “Package details” on individual product pages.
  • For deliveries to an apartment, please make sure someone is available to receive the delivery at the door or gate.
  • It is possible to have real plants delivered to your home. Please note that you are responsible for packaging the plant when you shop with us in-store so that we can transport it without damaging it. If you are shopping via IKEA.se, your postcode will determine whether you can order real plants.
