WWE 2K23 has some amazing CAWs that fans should download.
WWE games have had some very dedicated fans and creators since the SmackDown vs. Raw series and over time those creators have started making creations that are on the same level and even better than the base roster added in by 2K. Creators like WhatsTheStatus, Iconic2k, and Joe Mashups have been providing for the WWE 2K series making some incredible wrestlers, arenas, championships, etc.

The creations they make recently have been looking even better than the stuff 2K originally put in the game. Since they put their time and effort in making all of this for fans at mostly no cost, we are going to show off some of the best CAWs that you can find on WWE 2K23. So here are the best CAWs that creators have uploaded to 2K23 that fans need to download to their save file.
10 Sting
The Icon and face of WCW, Sting, is a constant creation even when he was on the roster for games like 2K18 and 2K19. WWE 2K23 currently has some amazing variations including Wolfpac, Surfer, and AEW Sting. This upload comes with his 1997–1999 attires and a full moveset.
During his time with WCW, Sting would win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and WCW United States Championship on multiple occasions. Sting currently is in AEW putting on matches that would be crazy for someone half his age.
9 Swerve Strickland
Swerve Strickland has had a pretty good time in AEW since debuting and teaming alongside Keith Lee. The two would win the AEW Tag Team Championships and start an amazing feud with The Acclaimed for the gold. Swerve now runs his own faction called Mogul Affiliates.
Strickland has recently been a difficult CAW to create due to the limitations of the hairdye feature in the 2K series and the crazy colors Swerve always seems to debut, so credit to anyone taking the time to put up with that.
8 Jamie Hayter
Jamie Hayter has been reaching a fan favorite status since her path to the AEW Women's World Championship in 2022. Her partnership with Britt Baker and Rebel has been a must-see on AEW television for quite some time now.
She has also been putting on some amazing matches against the likes of Emi Sakura, Hikaru Shida, and her title victory over Toni Storm. This CAW comes with Hayter's black and gold attire as well as her matching red and white with Britt Baker.
7 Bronson Reed
Bronson Reed seems to be stuck in an area where he almost gets added to a 2K game but is released who something holds in back from debuting in the franchise. Creators were able to find his model fully made for 2K22 and were able to upload him back then.
With 2K23 it seems he returned too late or just wasn't able to get scanned in time and has since been relegated to the community creations again. Any fan looking to update their rosters would need to download this ASAP.

6 Kenta
Ever since leaving WWE and making his debut in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Kenta has been working on restoring his name after leaving Japan. Putting on amazing matches against people like Tetsuya Naito and Hiroshi Tanahashi have been doing wonders on that path.
Kenta was last featured in WWE 2K19 before leaving to NJPW. Fans have since been making some amazing CAWs of the Strong Openweight Champion with his updated gear and hairstyles.
5 Bandido
Any fans of Ring of Honor would know how amazing of a performer Bandido is. The luchador is another wrestler that is quite difficult to create in a video game due to his highly detailed and complicated ring gears including hats, masks, and jackets.
Bandido is a former Ring of Honor World Champion before that promotions move under the AEW wing. Bandido now has been seen on AEW television and Pro Wrestling Guerilla where he lost that promotions World Championship to Daniel Garcia in 2022.
4 Hikaru Shida
Hikaru Shida has been an integral part of AEW television ever since her debut with massive feats like winning the AEW Women's World Championship and being the current longest reigning Women's Champion in AEW history.
Shida has now also been working with Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Wave where she is the current Wave Single Champion with defenses over the likes of Emi Sakura and The Bunny in AEW.
3 Asuka
Asuka recently debuted a new look for herself on WWE television at the 2023 Royal Rumble after a brief absence from TV and return to Japan. Asuka would come back donning face paint similar to the clown makeup she wore during her time in Japan under her name Kana.
Looking to capitalize on her popularity with a match against Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair at WrestleMania, fans can download this new Asuka and even use it as an alternate attire in the game with some help from WhatsTheStatus.

2 CM Punk
With the addition WrestleMania 28 as an arena in 2K23, fans can download this more period respective CM Punk with his gear from his match against Undertaker at WrestleMania 29 and a long hair yellow attire from his earlier WWE days with SmackDown and ECW.
Fans can also find some amazing versions of Punk from his time in AEW and even his rookie days with promotions like Ring of Honor and Total Nonstop Action.
1 Mercedes Mone
Sasha Banks would make her final WWE video game appearance in WWE 2K22 before she would leave the company and make her debut in New Japan Pro-Wrestling facing off against IWGP Women's Champion Kairi.
Since her departure with WWE, Banks has changed her name and ring gear. She would face off against Kairi and win the IWGP Women's Championship while wearing some blue and pink gear in homage to Hana Kimura. The same creator uploaded an amazing Sasha Banks for any fans wanting her look during her time with WWE.
